Cannot launch JDeveloper 12c after OSX update

After updating my OSX to the latest version, something changed and messed my JDeveloper installation.

I launched JDeveloper through terminal and found the following error:

Antonioss-MacBook-Pro:bin alog$ ./jdev

To correct this delete the system_cache folder located in /Users/<username>/.jdeveloper/system12.2.1.3.42.170820.0914/system_cache

Now you can launch JDeveloper again.
